How MugZee Came To Be
Mugs have always been an interest of mine for more years than I care to admit. I never considered myself a collector ...... until cabinet shelves and mug racks began overflowing, not to mention the boxes and boxes in the attic.
At the suggestion of my husband, I opened an on-line shop to sell "vintage" mugs. With a few hundred packed away, it was thought that I wouldn't miss a few of them.
I confess, I often replace the mugs I sell and love the thrill of the hunt when customers ask me to keep a look out for a special mug, zodiac mugs are often requested.
Almost every mug can tell a story depending upon the design, manufacturer and even perhaps the artist. Ceramic, glass and pottery companies can provide a true timeline of history from wars fought to the success and the failure of businesses and the direction of commerce.
MugZee became a reality 2008. All mugs offered on MugZee's site are "vintage" age - 20 or more years old.
MugQuotes soon followed, this on-line shop list mugs with quotes, phrases and some wordless, somehow you know exactly what the message is without words.
The majority of my customers are across the United States. However, I am happy to add that I have several international customers as well.
Because we live in the sunny state of Florida and on the Gulfcoast, a seashell seemed the perfect companion for MugZee's Red Mug.
